Managed to book this hotel at an incredible rate. 2 minutes walk from Exit 3 of Hommachi station (go through the door past Lawson’s ...not up the stairs at Exit 3...following the passage out onto the street-turn right as soon as you get outside) The hotel is just past the Doutor coffee shop on the corner with the Koban (police box on the other corner) Lobby on the 2nd floor is modern and bright.Some of the staff spoke good English and explained things clearly. The room on the 8th floor was large for 1 person and the bathroom was big with nice smelling toiletries.Excellent wifi in the room. Free breakfast is served on the 2nd floor between 6:30 - 9:30 (a fair spread of juices,yoghurts,salad,hard boiled eggs,cereal,bananas,breads and pastries) and good coffee from a machine which is always there so you can get coffee at any time of day.Also the English signage explains that you can take the breakfast items to your room if you don’t wish to eat in the 2nd floor lobby. All in all a great find.Just 2 easy subway stops to Umeda. Would definitely stay again if I could get the same rate.

Arietta is a nice hotel to stay when visiting Osaka. It seems to tailor to business travelers because of its location but as a tourist I think the location is good as it is just a few minutes from the subway and the shopping district. Arietta is a nice hotel to stay when visiting Osaka. It seems to tailor to business travelers because of its location but as a tourist I think the location is good as it is just a few minutes from the subway and the shopping district. Dotonburi is also just within 15 minutes walking distance. The staff is very professional due to their clientele. One more thing...the price is affordable...and the room is nicely furnished. The view from the window is the next building over which should be expected given that it is located in the city. I would recommend Arietta and will definitely stay here again!

“Very Pleasant Stay”

Arietta Hotel is located in the middle of Osaka’s business district. There’s office buildings all around. Arietta Hotel is located in the middle of Osaka’s business district. There’s office buildings all around. While it does not cater to foreign tourists, it does provide for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast is free. They serve mostly bread and danish in small portions, cereals, and yogurt. Coffee is available the whole day. The rooms are clean and just the right size. However, it’s quite a long walk to the nearest subway and bus stations and to shopping malls. But service is efficient. Staff is not the friendliest I’ve encountered but helpful; the lady at the front desk (Kinichi?) helped us a ton on the day we checked out. Because our flight was early, we had to leave the hotel at 6:00 am. She made sure to get us a cab and already served breakfast (usually served at 6:30) so we can grab a quick bite before we took off. “Great location but...”

The bed was like a stone slab. Not sure if all the rooms are the same but I believe its quite common in Japan for this type of bed. Not saying its a bad hotel, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm glad I only stayed 2 nights, Location is great so close to Hommachi station so you can get your bearings.… Więcej

The bed was like a stone slab. Not sure if all the rooms are the same but I believe its quite common in Japan for this type of bed. Not saying its a bad hotel, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm glad I only stayed 2 nights, Location is great so close to Hommachi station so you can get your bearings. My advice is to book anywhere in Japan for 1 or 2 nights and just try it out. There are so many hotels that you can switch and try until you find something that is right for you.
