Eindigden stuck Wangerooge voor drie dagen wachten voor de mist te duidelijk. Ondanks het niet echt waar we het hotel wilden een fatsoenlijke schadeloosstelling bleek te zijn. Het is goed samen, goed beheerd en zeer ontspannend. Het ligt direct aan de kust heeft een geweldige locatie.

“Best hotel in town, great location with sea view, but rooms are small and not well equipped.”

I stood there with my son, it was great as the beach and shopping were just in front of the door. The rooms are not nice, though, reminded me of a 70s style design and a little worn off. But I doubt that there is a better place to stay in town.

For a hotel in this price range (we paid € 238 for a double for a night including breakfast) we were a little disappointed. For a hotel in this price range (we paid € 238 for a double for a night including breakfast) we were a little disappointed. The least you can expect, in my opinion, is a warm and professional welcome, a room where everything works, a decent trained staff and a good explanation of the invoice when you check out. Unfortunately, these things were not the case. The front desk was (most of the time) unprofessional, the room was tired with old furniture, the bathroom thermostate could not turned off (so 30 degrees 24/7) and 3 out of 5 lights were broken (we asked for maintanance at the front desk but the answer was that there were no lights available anymore...). Luckely there were a lot of good things as well... The sea view was great! We were very pleased with the location, the beds, the shower, the WIFI, the outstanding breakfast buffet and the close to perfection wellness area. The general manager(s) are very kind, as well as the cleaning staff. With a little more effort this could be heaven.
