“Incredibly convenient to JFK Airport.”

The value of this hotel is its location right outside JFK. We stay here all the time when we have an early morning flight, especially when that flight is during the week. The value of this hotel is its location right outside JFK. We stay here all the time when we have an early morning flight, especially when that flight is during the week. We don't want traffic to make us miss a flight. The rooms are comfortable. The food in the restaurant nice for what you'd expect in a hotel and the food is very good. If you have access to the top floor lounge, the offering is always top notch and there is plenty of it. Parking can be scarce but we have always been accommodated. The only time we couldn't find parking in their protected lot, we were allowed to park at the protected lot of the Hilton next door.

“Perfect for early departure!”

All that an airport hotel should be, close, clean & quiet! Check-in was easy, transfer to airport in the morning convenient & quick. Would use again if we get to visit New York again, would not like to worry about travelling from the centre to make a flight!

He called ahead to let front desk know I was coming. - Everything has the Ralph Lauren-style decor. Lobby is small with a fireplace and some really comfortable couches/chairs. Behind the lobby is a small restaurant/bar. - Desk agent was very nice, but unfamiliar with a few procedures (in training). She did not ask for my choice of Platinum Amenity, but the person training her mentioned I was upgraded and got everything straight. - I was put on the top floor, which is the club floor. Club lounge is right off the elevator, therefore open 24 hours but there isn’t much available outside Reception hours. Club breakfast is only served Mon-Fri mornings. - My club room was smaller than other hotels, but still nice enough to move around. Bathroom was very small but manageable. Armoire had an interesting door that opened part of the side with the front for easy access to anything you hang. No mini bar, nor fridge, nor microwave. There was the one cup Starbucks machine with to-go-cups & Tazo tea. 2 bottles of water were in the room. Flat screen TV was nice. - Zero sound proofing or noise consideration during construction. Heavy highway traffic noise and aircraft noise during all hours of the night. I always carry earplugs for this reason and they helped. - Overall it was a decent stay in the middle of JFK, good for an overnight before/after a flight. But I would NOT suggest this hotel for anyone visiting New York City for any length of time.
