“Nice appartments”

Perfect place to stay on a budget in central Courchevel 1650.The staff is friendly and appartments are big with terrace and clean. Perfectly located in the village 1650. Sauna included after a hard skiing day.

Stayed with a mixed skiing group mid March 2015. We had stayed in the Golf 20 years ago when it was quite a smart hotel but it has now become a chalet hotel with meals served self service at large refrectory tables. The trip advisor reports were offputting but although we found the decor a little tired it is clean and roomier than most chalets. The one problem is that the lounge bar is not very large and it fills up very quickly after dinner so it is impossible to find a seat so you are forced into sitting in the bedrooms. The food is varied, reasonably well cooked and there will be something for everyone. Being self service it means that you can sizable portions which is important after a hard day's skiing. There is a choice of red, white and rosea wine which is out of a box but more than adequate and you don't get a huge wine bill at the end of the week. Breakfasts are similarly varied and the lunches, which are all in, are as good if not better than dinner. The best thing however, is the location, south facing and direct access onto the piste from the terrace where you can take your lunch. The main chair lift is 50m or less from the hotel.

Stayed here mid-March 2015 and was very impressed, booking through Crystal Ski for a week of self-catering. The hotel is arguably the best-located premises in Courchevel 1650, with the boot room literally coming out to the bar at the bottom of the piste, next to the Ariondaz bubble lift. You literally cannot get a better location in the resort for convenience of skiing. The room was good, albeit basic, but it did lack a shower. The bath had a shower attachment and a shower curtain, but alas no fixture on the wall to enable you to use it as such. The rooms are advertised as bath-only though so can't complain. The rooms were cleaned to a good standard, albeit hardly sterile, but then the staff are mostly youngsters working the season and they do in fairness do a good job. I was certainly happy with the cleanliness and the staff in general. The food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was again to a good standard with plenty of buffet choice to cater for fussy eaters like me. The WiFi is criticised on some reviews but I could pick the connection on my iPhone everywhere, from the bar and reception, to my room on the 6th floor, even when sat outside in the bar. It's free, but you just have to sign back in every 24 hours; no big deal. The ski hire shop (Skiset Serge Sports - very good) is located next door so no hassle there. On arrival we checked in and found a twin room instead of a double - the issue was resolved in two minutes and we were given another room and an apology; thumbs up for that service. All in all a very reasonable hotel in an excellent location with good value-for-money. It's no 5* Ritz, but it's a decent standard for an active holiday with helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

It's always hard not to compare resort hotels especially when you really liked one you previously stayed at. This is the case as we really liked the MMV at les arcs 2000 but after 3 holidays there felt a change was needed. Here in Courchevel the MMV is much more apartment than hotel : good clean modern self catering units (there is a small restaurant in the main building for a significant extra budget), each apartment is outside and hence you don't feel part of the MMV animation and events. The pistes are right next to the hotel, there is a car park (not free) and there is even sauna and hammam. However the wellness part is really just a little room and quite drab - I'm comparing to the other MMV again which was fantastic. To summarise this is a good place to stay, great skiing and close to Courchevel 1650 centre, but come here before you go to Les Arcs 2000.
