“A peaceful, tranquil, wonderful ‘home from home’”
The hospitality, welcome and friendliness of the management, staff and the Sisters was superb. The location of the retreat house is excellent - really central - and the views from the rooms overlooking the valley are wonderful. You might want to ask for a room with a view, subject to availability.

“Awake the first morning to the tolling bells of the Basilica of St. Francis.”
We found this large monastery though Monastery Stays and booked because it showed beautiful views of the valley and the Basilica of St. Francis.
