It's clean and nice budget hotel. The rooms are spacious and beds perfect for good night sleep. Mini bar is decent, selection of TV channels fine. WiFi is excellent, there is enough space and plug-ins for computer and other appliances and working space is fine. Bathroom is spacious, with hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo. No bathrobes nor slippers. Breakfast is very good, parking is free of charge. The staff is welcoming and pleasant. There is a spa and a gym, but I didn't use it. It's a perfect business or short trip place to stay, with more than reasonable price.

This hotel caters for business travelers. A late arrival on a Sunday night is no problem, although the hotel was basically deserted. On Monday morning, there were no bacon and eggs at breakfast, but the cold buffet was sufficiently stocked. The rooms feel slightly sparten, but are large and clean. The bathroom is modern. It is sooo quiet here that, even with the window open at night, you hear nothing. A good night's sleep. If you need to come here, then this hotel is a good choice. The previous comments that it is more a three star hotel may be partly true, but given the price: absolutely okay!

Don't be put off by the boxy exterior. We booked two rooms for late June for a family of five, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and satisfactorily furnished, with larger than usual bathrooms. The front desk was helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast offered sufficient variety (except perhaps for the sugary cereal choices) and was well-stocked. The central atrium around which the rooms are situated could probably be noisy at a busier season, but there was no such problem while we stayed there. Overall, we rated Hotel GIP "very good" for the quality of the accommodations, the reasonable price, and the convenient location for the purpose of our stay. There are several restaurant choices in the Grosspetersdorf, but we ate both nights at Wurglits, which we can recommend highly for the menu, the friendly service, the comfortable feel, and the local flavor.

Not very attractive from the outside and strange reception area with the doctors and eye shop. The room however, was spacious and clean. It would benefit having a kettle to make tea or coffee though.
