“Great service, great place”

The team is nice and always available. The apartments are clean and all you need is there The location is great! Every attraction is in a walking distance and great restaurants The apartments include dishwasher, washing machine and all you need for a visit in a great city

“Great value for money.”

Apartment was exactly like the photos on the website. Great location with only a 10/15 minute or so walk to Princes Street. We had a problem with the heating on the first night, and help was there within 5 minutes to fix the problem. Very helpful staff. Will 100% stay here again!

Myself and my husband stayed here whilst visiting Edinburgh. We regularly stay in and around Edinburgh and this was a last minute deal so decided to book. The reception area is nice, airy and well decorated but once in our ‘room/ apartment’ I must admit I was a little disappointed. Even though we got a last minute deal it was still a good amount of money we paid and I felt it lacked a little. It was clean but quite basic looking. There are no toiletries included apart from hand wash/ shampoo that is in despensers on the wall. The kitchen again, was very clean and has all you need. Cups, glasses, cutlery etc. There is a coffee machine and you get a couple of pods free. You also get a small bottle of milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. I think if I was travelling as a family or for work this would do the job fine but not as a night away with your partner for a special occasion etc. It’s worth noting that this hotel also takes £100 deposit on arrival and it takes 8-10 working days to reach back to your bank.

Facilities: Although it looks like the place has been furnished from a local charity furniture shop, there is everything you need here. A few things hadn’t been checked - the lamp in the living room not working, the curtains in the living room didn’t close fully and the lamps in the bedroom were different brightness. The apartment consisted of a living/dining/kitchen room, hallway, bathroom and bedroom. Cleanliness: The place was clean, but tired looking. Noise: My apartment was facing the back so no road noise at all. No noise from the other apartments. Extras: I stayed with my dog, extra cost of £10, they provided a dog bed, treat and water bowl. Booking: booked through Hotels.com. No mention of the extra charge for the dog - in fact nowhere to indicate that I was bringing a dog, I mentioned it in the special requests box. They also didn’t mention the need for photo ID or that they’d take a £100 security deposit (returned after 10 days) Verdict: It was pleasant enough for me and my dog for one night. Not sure I would book it for longer as it’s not a space you can relax in if you want to. I probably would also be just as likely to book travelodge.
