This really is the best kept secret hotel around Canberra. Fully refurbished, the interior is as good as any of the hotels close by that charge triple the price (and I’ve stayed in a lot of them). The staff are lovely there’s free barista, coffee and muffins etc in the reception area and it’s centrally located to any part of Canberra. Even though it looks like it’s on a busy circle, the rooms were so quiet. I didn’t even know I was near traffic. Full price point And quality in this star rating hotel. I don’t think you will find a better room in the ACT.

“Another good stay ”

I've stayed here before and again it was excellent. The room had been recently renovated so good shower, luxury towels, Comfortable bed, wonderful doonas, Great airconditioner. Staff in office were friendly and attentive.

I've stayed here a few times and generally had a good experience. This time I was put in one of the rooms furthest away from the reception, which was ok except for one thing. The roller blind on the window facing the street was unable to be pulled down at night. This meant I had no privacy with the light on. As I usually read in bed before sleep, I felt vulnerable. I also had to get dressed in the bathroom. It was too late to check with reception when I discovered this. The outside streetlight shone in the room making it harder to get to sleep. Everything else was fine but maybe a note about this in the room or fixing the blind would help.
