“Bon hôtel”
C'est un hôtel bien situé pour que nous puissions manger dans les restaurants locaux. Confortable, moderne et les chambres sont propres et les salles de bains. Le petit déjeuner était occidentale et chinoise, un bon choix. Belle vue sur la ville depuis la salle de petit déjeuner aussi.

The T.V is flat one LED with 59 channels and only 2 channels are English. Breakfast is on the 26th floor and tea and coffee are out, cannot be drank, not to the international standard. Butter and jam has to refilled very time, and there is only one type of bread, Butter knife has to requested so is the butter and jam. Lot of foods but the there is no name tag on the food stuffs that are made by this hotel. One Chef was frying "Char KMueh" and I requested Beijing style that is dark brown and he did not know english so I have show the colour of my skin. and I got it right. This whole hotel is built only to cater one coimmunitty.

This was a state run hotel in the past catering for the civil servants while outstationed. The deco of the hotel is really very China looking, dark oak color paneling and carpet on the floor. The lighting in the room is very poorly lited, make the room very dark. Electrical outlets and sockets were also poorly located, unless you are like me carry along an extension cord you will find a bit difficult to use the sockets. Buffet Breakfast is served on the 26th floor revolving restaurant, but when we were up there at 6:30am for our breakfast, the hot foods were served cold, apparently they were well prepared probably before 6am, and the servers did not turn on the heater to get the warm, quite disappointed for us. The only good thing about this hotel is it’s location. It is situated right in the centre of the CBD and luxury shopping belt - zhongqing Road, where all the famous Brands are well represented. As the hotel is old and nothing really fantastic or extraordinary I therefore do not think it deserves a 4 star, at most a 3 star by International standard.

Local mainland China style hotel. For a westener, service is not the kind one expects. This is the mainland China style which I don´t like at all. Service never smile, never say thanks or good morning and make you wait longtime. We had to negotiate price because they offered a price much higher than in website. In the end they accepted to give us the same price as web. Room was good in terms of comfort, but bed was a bit harder than desirable. Bath was good as well. Breakfast was Eastern style. Few food options. They served coffee with sugar and milk included and it was too sweet. Location is in downtown Changchun whic is very convenient for leisure and trasportation. I would choose this hotel for a one or two night stay. For longer stays I would go to other ones.
