“Splendid ”
We were doing a cycling ride from Oxford to Wales and stopped off via the royal hotel in Ross-on-Wye. It was wonderful very nice food reasonable price splendid accommodation and fantastically welcoming helpful staff we will very likely return their but maybe he's without doing all the cycling

“Much better than the usual chain hotel”
The hotel was very friendly. Our room had a lovely river view and was very spacious with a very comfortable sofa. The staff were very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. It was much better than the usual chain hotel. The cooked breakfast is very good value, with a choice of menu.

“Surprise birthday party”
I arranged a suprise 60th party for my husband. The staff were fantastic. Sara Bayliss- Williams for organising everything I needed. “All great”
Such a busy but well run place. Great team, all working so hard, even the heavily pregnant manager! Good selection on the bar. Great food, great views. Dog friendly which makes it very popular. We will be back and will recommend to everyone. Be sure to visit

“Fur babies welcome!”
Didn’t stay in the hotel but stopped for an early dinner with our two dogs. The staff behind the bar were so welcoming and friendly. The food was great - good English pub food. Cater for your fur babies which is fabulous. Would definitely stop again if we are ever back in this area.
