“Best cottage we have ever stayed in”
We had the Old Bakery for 4 nights and it is the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It has everything you can need provided for you and there was fresh bread, milk, butter and preserves waiting on our arrival. “Country style pub with contemporary restaurant”
We had a family and friends gathering and meal. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Food was very good with perhaps over generous portions. There was a terrace area outside and a fire pit with chairs for an after dinner drinking area. Will definitely return.

“Great long weekend stay”
We had a lovely stay in the Tap House, very spacious but cosy. It was relaxing to sit out on the patio with a glass of wine. the car park can get busy in the evening when the pub/restaurant was busy, but we only went out one evening and were lucky to find a space when we returned. “The Barrel Room”
Bought an overnight stay in the Barrel Room as a gift for newly weds. The couple were highly delighted with the room and courtyard. All modern fixture and fittings. Well equipped kitchenette , luxury toiletries supplied. Pub owner was extremely thoughtful and helpful . Would highly recommend.

“Very disappointing”
We were told on a Saturday night that there were 4 main courses that were off the menu due to being sold out.
