“Great Pub, great grub”
After a stressful day none of us felt like cooking, so we popped to this village pub near my Dads house in Blunsdon. What a great Pub, so welcoming and the food was great, we had their special which was a curry, it was 1st class , came with all the trimmings . Well done 👏

“Best village local”
Congratulations on first year in HIH Darren, Claire and team. Always our favourite pub, but just sampled the new menu which was fantastic. This place is a little gem and deserves every success. See you next Friday....as usual!!! Atb. A,M & D

“great food”
Had been there many times when Steve was there, new people running it now and the food was not disappointing. They have also repainted and made it look quite nice. Wiltshire ham was nearly the size of the plate, and thick! Will return.

“Table for 11”
Great service, excellent hot food and a warm welcome. Highly recommended. There is a heated marquee out the back of the pub with a car park. This is a locals pub that welcomes visitors. If your lucky you might even get to see their black dog for a cuddle.

“We went for Sunday lunch 14th November 2021”
There were 3 of us and we all agreed that it was the best Sunday lunch we had ever had! Lovely family run business that scored 10 in all categories. Worth travelling a distance for a great experience. We asked about their rooms and were shown around. the place was spotless and beautiful!
