“Good stay with everything we needed!”

The accommodation was much better than we expected reading the reviews. Be aware all rooms are different and have different set ups. Ours 217 was nice and clean, everything we needed. Plenty of space to store clothes. Reception was a little dark and musty which doesn’t give a great initial impression but the keys were waiting for us as we arrived late. WiFi was great and plenty of hot water. Towels and bedding provided and nice and clean. Location is a short distance to centre. We stored skis and boots in a locker in town so no issues. Parking out front was good and next to a small supermarket which was great. Even though it’s on a main road, it wasn’t as bad as others make out - no issues with noise. If you want deluxe this place isn’t for you but then if you don’t want to pay £500 a night then this is a good choice. You just have to manage your expectations. Megeve is expensive! Thank you for a nice stay!

“Reasonable hotel on the edge of Megeve town”

The hotel is an "apart hotel" with each of the three rooms we had having a double sofa bed, two bunk beds, small bathroom and a small kitchen area with a table and chairs. The hotel is an "apart hotel" with each of the three rooms we had having a double sofa bed, two bunk beds, small bathroom and a small kitchen area with a table and chairs. The common areas are a bit dated, but overall I would rate the hotel as "Good". Tripadvisor don't do "good" ratings for some bizarre reason. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay. Not a huge issue over four days, but might be over a week, with a few in the room. Had to ask at reception for extra loo roll etc. Breakfast was €10 which was OK, plenty of coffee, juice, bed croissant cereals and boiled eggs. The accommodation is cheap for Megeve. The hotel is very close to McDonalds, a supermarket, pharmacy and pizza takeaway. The walk into town is about 15 minutes along what is a busy road, for half that time. We didn't attempt the walk in ski boots - too painful I think. If you are after relatively cheap accommodation in Megeve and are not bothered by a bracing walk in the morning to the ski shop (leave boots and skis overnight) and lift - this is great for you.

This hotel /residence is on the main road into Megève town, the Route National. It is friendly and appears to be family run. Plus points Good restaurant, La Marmotte Carrefour is just next door (and Mcdonald's, if that is your thing) Parking usually available Friendly Negative points 'W… lisää

Plus points Good restaurant, La Marmotte Carrefour is just next door (and Mcdonald's, if that is your thing) Parking usually available Friendly Negative points 'Walking' distance to Jaillet ski lift ie 15 minute walk (very difficult with children, skis & ski boots) 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop to take you to the other resort lifts. Old and run down in the corridors. If we went to Megève again, we would stay in the centre and definitely nearer to the ski lifts.
