The service was excellent as soon as we stepped through the door (from the very lovely and helpful Ioanna). The (twin) room was very comfortable, clean and a good size. The towels were fluffy, the pillows and bed super comfy (on the soft side). Location was amazing (just a few steps from the station and the town centre). The hotel decor was lovely. And the breakfast was probably the best I've ever had (the granola was amazing!). Faultless!

“Excellent business meeting venue”

Business meeting: This was the first time I used Malmaison to book an all-day meeting room and the experience was excellent! From the first contact to enquire, to getting a VAT receipt post-meeting, Francesca was brilliantly helpful and efficient. The meeting rooms are really nice and well-equipped… lisää

Business meeting: This was the first time I used Malmaison to book an all-day meeting room and the experience was excellent! From the first contact to enquire, to getting a VAT receipt post-meeting, Francesca was brilliantly helpful and efficient. The meeting rooms are really nice and well-equipped. The drinks area is excellent with unlimited hot or cold drinks available all day very conveniently. We chose to eat in the bar for a quick lunch which was also excellent, although we were so relaxed we accidentally left without paying - oops! Fortunately they were very nice about it when we remembered a couple of hours later and paid. From start to finish a great experience - trouble-free which is what I want for a business meeting. I’m sure I’ll be back.

My preferred hotel in Reading and I’ve stayed a few times. Nice spacious room, excellent breakfast, characterful and quiet. The staff are friendly and the location is unbeatable for a business trip. My preferred hotel in Reading and I’ve stayed a few times. Nice spacious room, excellent breakfast, characterful and quiet. The staff are friendly and the location is unbeatable for a business trip. The station is over the road, the town centre is 5 minutes walk and there are plenty of dining options within 10 minutes. I’ll be staying here again.
