“A real gem”

two friends, two lovely rooms and a great breakfast. We were obn the ground floor, our friends on 2nd floor. They even had a 2 seater settee in theirs! We had two comfy chairs. The bedding and beds were very comfy, everything was spotless, every thought ( like mi9lk in a flask) was there, books, cushions, biscuits, etc. The food was great too. Also, instructions about being able to bring your own food in , use of the kitchen, all condiments were there if needed. Books, dvd's available. For winter guests, even able to adjust their own heating requirements which is an extra for some) We were delighted all round. Thank you again, we hope to revisit at some time.

“Lovely BnB with very friendly owners”

Passing through our on ride of Tour of the Roses. We were very happy with the Lyndale. The owners were very accommodating (e.g. with bikes), the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Good place to stay!

Great location adjacent to the bridge, this venue is what we perceived to be an old style B & B. Warm welcome, good service, comfy accommodation, and good grub! Great location adjacent to the bridge, this venue is what we perceived to be an old style B & B. Warm welcome, good service, comfy accommodation, and good grub! Our room was on the first floor with a comfy double bed. Plenty of storage space if you needed it (we didn't for a one night stay) and en suite that was a little compact, but served its purpose and included a decent shower, which is something of a priority for me. The breakfast was great and as good as we've had during our week in Yorkshire. No brilliant views from the dining area, but there was a nice atmosphere about the place. Choices of cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit and the obligatory 'full English', and this really WAS a full English!! Points to consider - There is an Indian restaurant nearby, and I do wonder how the aroma will go down with some Lyndale residents who may wish to have their windows open in good weather. Didn't bother us. Only 2 carpark spaces, with any further overspill having to park on the street nearby. We enjoyed our short stay. Nice little village that we would have liked to have explored but it was a Sunday - most places appeared to be closed.
