“good central location, recommended”

Good hotel and friendly staff. Furnishings in rooms could be more modernised but room facilities were good nonetheless. Breakfast/bar meals were also good value.

“Amazing Location”

The location is the best. The standard rooms were nice, a little small in size though. The bathrooms were big & spacious. The hotel is located right opposite the Church & everything touristy is Christchurch is next to the church.

We stayed the night of February 21st and were fortunate to have left Christchurch 3 hours before before the February 22nd earthquake struck. I really hope this hotel reopens and the owners and staff are all OK. The hotel is still standing after the quake. It's in a great position next to the cathedral and offered excelent value. Rooms were clean and adequate and breakfast was good - hot food cooked to order. DService was great

“Perfect location”

The hotel is in a perfect location right at the heart of Christchurch. The bedroom was enormous but both the bedroom and the bathroom could have done with a "spring clean". They were clean but some of the tiles in the bathroom were beginning to look a bit grubby. The television didn't work o… lisää

The hotel is in a perfect location right at the heart of Christchurch. The bedroom was enormous but both the bedroom and the bathroom could have done with a "spring clean". They were clean but some of the tiles in the bathroom were beginning to look a bit grubby. The television didn't work on my first night and I reported it the next morning. The second night it still wasn't working so I asked again and was told by the receptionist that day that she hadn't been made aware of the problem but she could get a man to come in at 9 p.m. if I wanted! As single, female traveller I declined that offer. That said, both receptionists I spoke to were very helpful and the hotel could not be better placed.
