“Good value for me”

Was here on an extended stay due to business meetings in the area. The value was great as it was close to 1/3 of the price compared to hotels there. The location is great with the beach just a short walk across the road. There is a pedestrian light just in front of the hotel to make it easy to cro… lisää

Was here on an extended stay due to business meetings in the area. The value was great as it was close to 1/3 of the price compared to hotels there. The location is great with the beach just a short walk across the road. There is a pedestrian light just in front of the hotel to make it easy to cross and child-safe. For trips elsewhere there is a taxi stand nearby. Food options are a bit limited if you are on a budget. The on-site restaurants serves an acceptable set-based selection at night but I found the lunch buffet over-priced and not too great. A short walk out is a supermarket + cafe serving primarily Italian cuisine. Be warned tho, it can be pricey. Being a non-Portugese speaker, it can be a challenge communicating with the staff as only 2 front desk staff can speak any English, and they are on shifts.

Good Standard hotel, more like 3*+ located in Barra which is a great area for relaxing. The hotel is less than 5 min walking to the beach and most of the rooms are SV and terrace. Good Standard hotel, more like 3*+ located in Barra which is a great area for relaxing. The hotel is less than 5 min walking to the beach and most of the rooms are SV and terrace. The rooms can fit to 3 pax and the price is logical comparing to the very expensive hotels in Rio. There is a swimming pool, supermarket and pizzeria. At night you have to wait a lot to get your order (minimum 30 min). The hotel is about 30 km far from Coppacabana. The hotel organized a tour for us to the important sites of Rio. Generally Rio is safe unlike what you hear but you have to be careful all the time.
