I stayed at the Auberge for 2 nights whilst on a business trip at the Expo, which conveniently is a 7 minute walk away. Upon arriving the reception staff was polite and helpful. The room was very basic and smelled damp - I soon learned that the smell came from the bathroom (the extractor fan didn't work)m and the door had been left open and windows open for it to air out. It didn't work. I paid 10EUR a day for breakfast, which was very basic and as I am currently on a strick diet to find a food allergy, there was nothing which didn't contain wheat or dairy - some fruit would have been nice! So I had to risk it. All in all my stay was perfectly adequate, despite the smell I didn't have any problems, and although after reading other reviews I was very nervous about the stay, there was free wifi in the room, hot water in the shower and everything was clean. One odd thing I noticed was that there was no plug sockets in the room, so I had to charge my phone from the shaver socket in the bathroom! I hope that the prices had been jacked up for the furniture show, otherwise I can safely say that unfortunatey it is just not worth the money!
