“Unexpectedly good, highly recommended”

I had decided to go to Plitvice lakes on a whim and my friend suggested this cheap hotel and we booked it. The accommodation options are limited in this area and my priority was to stay close to the park to enter first thing in the morning. This hotel surprised me hugely. Small but cosy and comfortable. Able to settle my bill with credit card. The attached restaurant is surprisingly good and pretty cheap as well. Our family room had two big beds and a divan which opened to be another quite decent bed for my daughter. Sound proofing was good. They had air con and heating. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with excellent shower cubicle. A small fridge in the room. Everything looked clean. For two nights stay it was perfect. The reception staff were very polite and welcoming. What's not to like ? Highly recommended.

“Spacious, comfy and neat”

We stayed 2 nights, the hotel is very comfortable and cozy. Although it is rated 3star, this is a top-end 3 star and certainly recommendable. Rooms are an estimated 30sqm, so very spacious. We stayed 2 nights, the hotel is very comfortable and cozy. Although it is rated 3star, this is a top-end 3 star and certainly recommendable. Rooms are an estimated 30sqm, so very spacious. Satellite TV includes a wide variety of channels, including german ones. Reception very friendly and efficient, cleanliness very good all over, bedding ok. Only little drawback are the towels, very hard- maybe they ran out of softener. But all else, certainly recommendable.

“You cannot go wrong staying here”

The whole reason to be in the Plitvice Lakes area is to go to the park. This hotel is only a ten minute drive to parking lot/entrance #1. Very easy drive, you cannot get lost. The whole reason to be in the Plitvice Lakes area is to go to the park. This hotel is only a ten minute drive to parking lot/entrance #1. Very easy drive, you cannot get lost. Our room was the biggest room we had anywhere on our six week holiday. It was spacious, it was clean, it was comfortable with lots of storage and a large bathroom. The room was air conditioned but the air conditioning had to work hard to keep the room cool. Not cold, just cool. There is an outdoor pool on the property and it is excellent to rejuvenate yourself after a hot day hiking the park. What they don't advertise is the five euro "tax" to use the pool. It is five euros per room, not per person and it is for the duration of your stay, not per day so it is well worth it. Breakfast is included and each day (three mornings for us) we were very pleased with the breakfast and the service. Most staff speak English so that was also a plus for us. Parking is included and is on site. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I asked a million questions and they had accurate answers to all of them. If we return to the area we would definitely try to stay here again. If you make a reservation here you can sleep easy knowing it is a quality property with great amenities, a reasonable price and helpful friendly staff. Thanks Sedra.
