“Modern apartment but take care with check in hours”

This is a perfect apartment to stay 2 or 3 days with maximum 2 couples, couple and 2 kids or couple and 1 person. Take care! The check in is 15:00/3pm to 19:30/7:30pm, if you don't arrive between these hours you loose the reservation. The apartment keepers are friendly and helpfull.

Our family of four stayed here for two nights and were very impressed . They are modern spacious rooms and have all you need for a short stay. The beds are comfortable and the aircon works well. We had no views to speak of but we were only using as a base . Check in was easy you just have to ring the buzzer on the side of the building . Our sat nav took us to the door and they have ample parking. The station, Tram & Bus are a short walk along one road very easy . We had Venice cards so used the Bus to get to Venice it`s No 2 and the stop is outside the Station on the main road between the bus station and Station entrance on the same side of the road . There is a small office to collect the Venice card in the corner of the bus station but it is not open very late. There is a supermarket in about 10 minutes walk . The apartments have a restaurant attached which was Ok we used one night . The second night we went to Wood Hostaria which is two streets over towards the centre of town . Easily missed as it just looks like an old shop from the outside and it is more of a locals pub. Don`t be put off it`s a great place lots of atmosphere good cheap food & drink with a limited menu.

We got a taxi from the airport (35 EUROS) and arrived at the apartment around 6pm. We phoned our host to say we had arrived and he came to check us in 15 minutes later. We got a taxi from the airport (35 EUROS) and arrived at the apartment around 6pm. We phoned our host to say we had arrived and he came to check us in 15 minutes later. The apartment is very modern, clean and well equipped, although it only had one bedroom and sleeps six. (Sofa beds in the lounge and small bed in main bedroom). The pillows are very thin and there weren't enough so make sure you ask before you arrive! Our host was very helpful and gave us a map and information on public transport and what to see and do. The apartment is located in a very quiet location of Mestre but is only a 10 minute walk to the train station or a few minute walk to the bus station on Via Cappucina. We walked into the Mestre centre on both nights and ate good Italian pizza! Try the Kofler restaurant in the pedestrianised centre for great food and good selection of local beers. The downstairs flat played music until late on our second night which was annoying, but if you are looking for a clean, modern apartment outside Venice centre then this is a great option.
