Just back from Varandas do Atlantico after 10 day stay with family.Cant say enough about the experience we had staying here. From arrival meeting Bella and Michaela to the pool restaurant and bar run by the fabulous Anna.The property is safe,quiet and just a 12 minute stroll downhill to old town Square.If you don't fancy the uphill walk back,uber is very cheap. All the guests we met during the week were repeat visitors,which we will now become ourselves..great stay.

“Excellent relaxing and safe”

First time in Portugal and what a wonderful experience we had. The apartment was lovely and had the most wonderful view of the area. Bella was very welcoming. We had to pay tourist tax which we were expecting. The staff were excellent and the pool bar was very welcoming. The whole area was very clean as was the pools. We were very pleased thank you.

“Clean and spacious.”

Booked a 2 night stay with LoveHolidays.com. but the flight times gave us best part of three days. HappyDaysAlgarve provided our transfers which went smoothly. Booked a 2 night stay with LoveHolidays.com. but the flight times gave us best part of three days. HappyDaysAlgarve provided our transfers which went smoothly. Arrived early at accomodation but the room was ready and we were allowed in. Very spacious appartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open plan kitchenette/lounge. We self catered and facilities were excellent inc. two cooker rings, microwave, even a blender. Two balconies, one small but the other a very nice 6 x 2 metres approx. Our appartment and the whole complex were very clean. There are two reasonable sized pools but not heated and a lovely poolside bar. Plenty of poolside sunloungers (with cusioning) and umbrellas. We found it very quiel and relaxing. It's a small complex and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. It was a very good base and was a 10 - 15 mins walk into Albufeira old town which is beautiful and on the Friday evening was buzzing, a great place to explore. The walk back was uphill but there are many taxis if needed. The only criticism I would have is there was only a small TV in our appartment with limited channels, but we had a most enjoyable stay. Without asking, when we checked out of our room, we were provided with a small appartment for the rest of the day without even asking. (Not sure how often that happens). That was a lovely touch. We deffinately recommend the place and will return.

These apartments are a gem of a find . If you are looking to relax then these are for you. They are so spacious and spotless. They are 5 mins in a taxi from the old town . These apartments are a gem of a find . If you are looking to relax then these are for you. They are so spacious and spotless. They are 5 mins in a taxi from the old town . There is an on-site bar and restaurant who is run by the fantastic Anna. Across the street is a small shop which does food then at the end of the road is a small supermarket and coffee shop , which is so reasonable. There were only a handful of us staying here but everyone was lovely . The only negative was the owner being rude about us moving a sun lounger , however I would not let this put us of coming back . I would normally go for 4/5 star hotels but these apartments are fantastic , if you are looking a value for money break then there are for you
