“Friendly staff make such a difference”

Can’t be beat for access to slopes. Rooms were nice, pool is fantastic after skiing all day; it’s essentially one huge hot tub. What really surprised and delighted me was the uniform friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Everyone - and I do mean everyone - from bellmen, front desk, waitstaff, and even housekeeping staff were personal and friendly. I even knew the name of our housekeeper, a lovely staff member named Lucia-who made sure our room was perfect daily! I look forward to returning. Whoever is managing this property and training/hiring staff is doing something right-keep up the good work.

I spent 4 nights at Summit for a conference and the hotel, service, location, and facilities cannot be beat. From the hospitable staff to the stunning spa with a large indoor/outdoor pool (really a huge hot tub) and salt room to the ease of skiing (literally right there and with a ski valet!), I had a blast and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel without reservations. I already miss the salted caramels either turn down service!

“Lovely resort on beautiful mountain.”

We checked into the Summit and went right to the concierge for info. Eileen was very helpful and patient with all our questions. We stayed in a studio suite . Nicely decorated and had a nice little kitchen. We like to bring our own groceries to save a bit of money. Resorts are a bit overpriced as we all know. Be aware that these suites have a Murphy bed (pull out of wall) Ours was a queen. It was not as uncomfortable as we thought it would be. But next time we'll seek out a king bed. The tv setup is odd as it was positioned over the bed area. Maybe they need to rethink that and put the Tv in the opposite corner so you can see it from the sofa and the bed. Just a thought. We did visit some of the restaurants. Decent food. Wait staff very nice. Montana Jacks had great portions for the money. We rented equipment from the resort. Fitting went smoothly. Although the employees spoke little English which made communicating issues hard. I participated in the half day group ski school. My instructor Chris was good at explaining things and had a lot of patience. Even when I took a tumble. He was right there. The mountain is stunning and has so many trail choices from beginner to extreme. If you want everything pretty much out the front door and views too die for then this is the resort for you. Be prepared to pay though.

We stayed here for a week recently. The good things are it is slopeside (we were here to ski) and everyone at the hotel is friendly and tries to help. We tried the couple restaurants and liked them both especially Carabiners. Great bartenders and good vibe all around. I believe the hotel was renovated in the past few years and the style is modern and nice. What we didn't like were the way the rooms are built. We had a studio and on either side wall there was a door that you can use to combine rooms. This is quite normal at these kinds of hotels and not something we thought anything about. However, we immediately noticed that you could hear the other guests quite clearly from our room. Anything above a whisper you could here. We clearly heard entire conversations our entire stay. I investigated the doors a bit more closely and there was no soundproofing or anything applied to the door. In fact it was just a basic bedroom door with even a gap at the bottom so sound clearly transmits easily. I would hope they would have a better sound proofing installed at this point, but it is by far the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed out. The main room door also had a gap at the bottom which easily transmits sounds from the hallway, but fortunately noise from the hallway was not an issue as there wasn't a lot of movement in the hallways. This is the only hotel I can think of that I've seen rooms not fully sealed out for sound like this so to us it was very odd.
