Megalochori meaning big village is a very quiet, relaxing village and 7 km to the capital of Fira where you can find Night life, shops and bars. In the village there are old churches, tavernas and mini markets. The nearest bus stop on the main road where they will go to various villages around the island. The nearest beach is 3 km away at the red beach but there are 2 small less known beaches close to the complex.
