This was part of our tour with American Israel Tour group. We arrived with a group of 21, to st. Catharines for dinner with the Bedouins followed by a late night/early morning hike to view sunrise on the top of Mount Sinai. This was a day 4 in Egypt for us on our tour. The hotel has seen better days. My experience was only taking a 2 hr nap after dinner/dancing w/the Bedouins, prior to riding a camel for sunrise at Mt.Sinai. The experience with the amazing Bedouins was one I'll never forget! The meal was one of the best of my 15 day trip thru Egypt, Jordan and Israel! The Bedouin bread is like the flour tortillas from home, in Texas! They are pizza sized, cooked over a wood burning fire by a very handsome Bedouin! Entertainment during and after dinner was drums and dancing by the men! The cultural experience was my favorite of the entire trip! Warning: there are cats. Lots of cats. But im an animal lover so I just shoo'd them away. If u get the opportunity, definitely do the dinner. If they have the organic spaghetti sauce, try it. If u enjoy a little heat, add the pureed red peppers! Delicious!
