Returned to spend a relaxing two week holiday at Away Camikila in Legian with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Once again we have a very enjoyable experience and very happy to catch up with Suci and Kuntara who are like old friends along with making acquaintances with new people such as Trijaya. Can I also commend all the new trainees for being so attentive and the room staff for keeping our room so spotlessly clean. We will definitely be returning after having such wonderful time. 👏👏👏 Darren & Kerrie

We have spent a week here in early December and while it was quiet due to the rain, the staff were no less attentive or friendly. We have spent a week here in early December and while it was quiet due to the rain, the staff were no less attentive or friendly. Everyone is keen to stop for a chat and to make sure you’ve got a fabulous tropical drink in your hand (the decorative fruit on the rim was particularly fun!). We had a buffet breakfast every morning that had a mix of traditional hot breakfast and continental, and some special Indonesian items. Plenty of fresh fruit and freshly made omelettes available. We popped to the spa a couple of times for their wellness treatment of the day which was so lovely! My skin was so smooth after the green tea scrub. There are two swimming pools both of which are clean and warm. They don’t seem to be chlorinated too heavily which has been lovely as it hasn’t dried out my skin or hair. The rooms are lovely- a big balcony and comfortable beds, a large bathroom and plenty of useful amenities. The soap and hair care products smell great! I have to particularly commend Suci and Anita for their warm welcome and personalised care!

It’s been a few years since we’ve stayed at the Camakila but thought we’d try it again. Although the hotel and rooms look the same, they are definitely missing the extra touches that used to be there that made it a boutique special hotel. The staff are fabulous and super friendly always asking if there’s anything they can do for you……so I wonder who is making these decisions, * No welcome drink on arrival * No fruit plate in each room on arrival * Having to pay for a second cappuccino……install a coffee machine like most hotels have in their buffet breakfast so you can have a second cup * Breakfast selection was definitely sparse compared to how it used to be The location is fabulous, the housekeeping team are great in cleaning the rooms and leaving lovely towel displays on your bed……. so bring back the little extras……..as there’s so much competition out there.
