Stayed here with a group of friends on our way to Sicily and found this impressive hotel on hillside with amazing views from poolside and rooms. “We really enjoyed the room, the pool and the amazing view.”

This is a beautiful hotel with spectacular view over the sea. The staff was very friendly, particularly a young receptionist called Leonora I think. Nice breakfast (at least if you compare with other hotels in Italy) and an awesome pool area! We would love to come back! Richard and Hanna

we stayed at the hotel in January and June. In June the hotel was very quiet- rooms very clean with all the facililies you need - air conditioning - clean and our room was in the shade so it was always nice and cool. we only had breakfast in the hotel - we prefer to travel out each evening to explore local restaurants - go to Pimms in Tropea- fantastic view is amazing. Hotel is very conveniently located to Vibo Valentia, Vibo marina, tropea and Pizzo. There is a fabulous pool at the hotel and the views from the hotel are lovely -the staff in the hotel speak very little english but were still very helpful. We will defenetely return.

“Adequate”

The view was amazing and so were the dinners! The rooms were unremarkable and ours smelled like stale cigarettes. You have to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs from the lobby to get to the elevator. I was not impressed. They do have free wifi but you have to sit in the lobby to use it and… more

The view was amazing and so were the dinners! The rooms were unremarkable and ours smelled like stale cigarettes. You have to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs from the lobby to get to the elevator. I was not impressed. They do have free wifi but you have to sit in the lobby to use it and the lobby is like being in an empty shopping mall...cold and empty. The one receptionist was wonderful (Lucia) and was very accommodating. It's a fair distance from anything so you would definitely need your own transportation.

My wife and I stayed there in October 2007 whilst looking at property in the area. The hotel itself is a taxi ride away from the harbour of Vibo Valentia. The hotel itself was clean if a little clinical. The rooms were quite spacious and clean and we enjoyed a decent buffet breakfast. The coffee bar just inside the main door was doing a steady trade and the coffee was of good quality. We did not have our evening meals in the hotel but preferred to eat down by the harbour. Any of the small bars or restaurants will call a taxi for you when you want to return to the hotel.
