“Holiday”

We had a lovely stay at the Ramada resort Lara. This was our first holiday in Turkey & we enjoyed our stay, the hotel was great. We found the hotel staff wonderful & friendly, they could not do enough for you especially the customer service staff & the bar staff, also in the restaurant. The hotel is always kept clean & there is always someone walking round with a dustpan and brush. The room was good with a great view, food was good & there was plenty of it, as a couple we always managed to find a table. We noticed that if you wanted a sunbed round the pool you had to get up early as people wrongly reserved them with towels for the day apparently at 0600, as we are not the type to lay around the pool all the time, it didn't bother us & by the evening if we wanted a swim in the pool we could usually find a sunbed then, there are plenty of sunbeds available at the beach which is always kept clean & the boards are regularly swept, there is a staff member that brings free melon round which is a nice idea.

The place is lovely but unfortunately the front desk staff is not welcoming. All the other staff from cleaners, cooks, spas, and housing are keeping a lovely and ALWAYS willing to help. The place is lovely but unfortunately the front desk staff is not welcoming. All the other staff from cleaners, cooks, spas, and housing are keeping a lovely and ALWAYS willing to help. I stayed there for 2 weeks. The food was lovely and was very close to shops and supermarkets. You have access to other premises, and there is a beach shuttle only 5 mins away.. There is plenty to do if you have kids, and you don't have to think of snacks as the hotel is all-inclusive.

Not so good ... Cats on tables in restaurants No sun beds Hotel overcrowded People are reserving beds the night before Hair salon trying to rip customers off. Spa needs a dedicated shower area. Booked treatment to share the spa area with checking out guests using showers. Kids club staff were nice… more

Not so good ... Cats on tables in restaurants No sun beds Hotel overcrowded People are reserving beds the night before Hair salon trying to rip customers off. Spa needs a dedicated shower area. Booked treatment to share the spa area with checking out guests using showers. Kids club staff were nice and hotel staff friendly. Room was huge. Cleaner only left towels, didn't clean anything. Too many people in the hotel. Sardine sun bathing. Adult pool had many kids under 16 in it.
