“Great location.”

The location is great. It's right opposite the karom beach. Great view. The staff was nice. Sanjay from the staff was very helpful. The disappointment was no phones in the room. The amenities could've been more and service could've been better.

1) Location is simply close to beach by walking across the street, one can put foot on soft sandy beach. 2) Unpleasant reception for checking in. One staff is at front office who was busy with the other check out guest. Standing in queue for over 10 minutes, staff did not pay attention and we had to ask if we can contact her for check in 3) Assigned room no 109 has some defects .. tv did not work, room and pillows are stinky with humid or strong odeur. Aircon is super noisy throughout the stay. Water leakage from bathtub and wet the floor. 4) security at gate was busy with mobile phone in the booth. Did not come out to signal the traffic at entrance and exit. 5) breakfast is quite ok but lots of birds came to pick and eat food on the buffet table. This is only for info and attention of the management. Used to stay at Wyndham hotel at other places, they are excellent and maintain better services and standard. Cheers. Boonshan

The staff and customer service at the Ramada Phuket South Sea has been amazing! The room was as advertised and we slept well. The staff and customer service at the Ramada Phuket South Sea has been amazing! The room was as advertised and we slept well. We do however, have a few concerns about how the hotel and its available services were not communicated with us when we booked in August or when our arrival date is closer. -The pool swim up bar is not available. We saw other swim up bars in other hotel pools active and serving. -The fitness center is not available. -The spa is not available. -There is no phone access in the room. We had to rely on using the LINE app. -The restaurant that is advertised as the Ramada property restaurant is not available. In fact, we had to use a restaurant adjacent to the property to eat breakfast, as told by the front desk. When my husband went to get breakfast, there were other tourists not staying at the Ramada, and they were waiting to order and serve, in which there was only one server available to everyone. No buffet! We did not communicate this directly to the property because they were the first ones not to communicate with us in the first place. We did pay a good amount of money to stay at the property that is not fully functional. We don’t appreciate the lack of communication. We would not have stayed here if we knew that the property was lacking the amenities as advertised. We were not given any warning or any updates as to the condition of the hotel, until we arrived and asked questions. As Viva Wyndham members, Club, Wyndham members, and RCI members, we will to hesitate to recommend this property due to the lack of communication and services available. I don’t trust this property to communicate to people that I could possibly recommend to stay at this place. My reputation would be on the line as well. Michelle Morales
