I stayed for 3 nights in December 2024 and I had a great stay in a room on the upper floor overlooking the the Forth Crossing. The room was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were very polite and courteous. I had b'fast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, The Shore Grill & Fish House . The choice for b'fast buffet is very good and staff usually serve you morning beverages (juice and/or coffee). Dinner is equally good with lots of delicious dishes on offer. One thing to be aware of is the location of the hotel - it is not a centrally located hotel and there is not a lot within walking distance. If you want to venture out you need a car or get a taxi. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

This is my second stay here last stay was 2 years ago after getting caught in a severe storm all all roads got closed. The receptionist that nice so sympathetic,kind and helpful. 2 years on we arrived and the same Receptionist was still here (Margoni) equally as polite and helpful and appoi fed a lovely room. this hotel is a hidden gem, the standards remain as high as they did 2 years ago. A relaxing late afternoon drink in the bar watching the world go by followed by a superb meal and attentive service. I love the table and chair arrangements - all looking out to the Forth. Food was beautifully presented and very fresh (tempura prawns and calamari, Japanese chicken and chilli jam, fish and chips and pork belly) We got an excellent Hilton honours member deal for dinner bells and breakfast, well worth it. The room was very clean nicely appointed and bedding crisp and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Lots of UBLSB points and plugs. I liked the floor night light Breakfast was delicious a gorgeous outlook choice of hot foods, fruit etc and gorgeous breakfast view. Will most definitely return

I paid a relatively most £75 for a room midweek and was pleased to find I'd been placed in a 6th floor room after I emailed asking for a quiet room. With nobody above and at the end of the corridor I had perfect quiet and slept well on the large and comfortable bed. The room, being quite new, had many mains sockets for devices and was of a good size, the walk-in shower gave a good flow. All ammenities I expected were in the room, of course some will have views over the Forth bridges. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of continental options plus a self-service cooked breakfast of the usual options. Dinner was pretty good and not over-priced although several items were 'off', you dine with a view over the Queensferry crossing. I'd say the hotel caters for a range of guests from organised tours to techniations who are working on local jobs. As a DoubleTree Hilton this hotel strikes a good balance between cost and luxury facilities.

“Nice hotel ,with some booking and payment issues .”

This hotel has lovely big rooms , comfortable beds and plenty of room for clothes etc . I am not a fan of a bath with an overhead shower . I am not sure if some of the rooms just have showers. This hotel has lovely big rooms , comfortable beds and plenty of room for clothes etc . I am not a fan of a bath with an overhead shower . I am not sure if some of the rooms just have showers. The restaurant was good , the food nice , but the same issue occurs on every visit. If you book a dinner via the receptionist , it does not seem to make the restaurant. That's twice we have booked in via the receptionist and when we go for dinner they have no note of our booking . We were told it's best to book your room , then call the restaurant and make your dinner booking . Come on Hilton get some software that ties the 2 together , other hotels manage it . Also on both occasions our total bill has been wrong , and we have to work it out with the receptionist. Not good .if you have booked a dinner b&b they seem to forget to take that off the bill .it's probably best to just take some cash and pay with that .
