Location is world class, isolated, extremly quiet but thats the point going to el Hierro. Nights pitch black, oceans waves rolling 24/7. Nice rooms, good restaurant. Expensive for island but very much worth it. But dont even think of going here without a car, its a 2.5 hour 800 meters hike to get u… more

I will just say the Parador grounds will, without doubt, soon need serious reconstruction. The sea will destroy much of it within a short time. As a volcanic geomorphologist, I unfortunately know this well.
