I stayed at the Ibis from March 9 until March 17. This was during the Corona virus pandemic. I was impressed by the professional attention from the staff. Maintaining high standards of hygiene. My room on the 10th room had a wonderful view of the streets below. It was all I needed to go out and enjoy my passion of photography in the streets of Tokyo. Thanks to the staff of Ibis Shinjuku. I hope to return.

“Amazing location and great quality to match”

I couldn’t have been happier with my stay at the Ibis. Th location made it incredibly easy to visit the bustling Shinjuku area, and was also very close to collection points for popular day tours. The room was clean and cosy. Would certainly stay here again.

・ibis Tokyo Shinjuku is located at 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station, and near the downtown. ・ibis Tokyo Shinjuku is located at 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station, and near the downtown. You can leave baggages and go shopping, eating and sightseeing. ・Employees are polite and friendly, but the reservation system has some problems, my cancelled former reservation was still valid. I wish them to fix the issue. ・Cabin room is our usual ibis, simple and kept clean, very comfortable. There is a FAQ in a file, you can check how to go to the major tourist attraction(Mt. Fuji, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo airports) and how to get taxi and public transportation, etc. ・In breakfast, serving the standard meals, both croissant and white rice…I was very satisfied but I guess that is too much for many passengers. I think that is better to be selectable (e.g. Bread or Rice) to avoid the food waste. ・My recommandation: “Tokyo Tocho Tenbou-shitsu”(Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observatory). 16 minutes walk from the hotel, and you can see the panoramic view of metropolis in far east.

Five minutes' walk from Shinjuku station, with cafes, restaurants and shops all nearby. The reception staff are fine and helpful, and there is a laundrette in the hotel. The room is rather poor - claustrophobically tiny, even by Japanese standards, with poor soundproofing, and far too hot - the heating is centrally fixed and cannot be adusted. The window doesn't open. I would not stay here again.
