The location, ambiance, and staff were all outstanding. The area offers plenty of activities, along with convenient transportation options. Highlights included the Lotte World amusement park, the folk museum, an indoor ice rink, a swimming pool, a sports center, and a bowling alley. Having the Lotte Department Store right next to the hotel was incredibly convenient, especially the extensive food mart on the lower level. Additionally, the Lotte World Tower, located just across the street, provides breathtaking views of Seoul from its observation sky deck. If you want to stay in the midst of the busy "tourist streets" you would probably not like it here. We preferred this quiet location with the Jamsil Station right outside the door for day trips. Special thanks to Ji Hong Park and staff. I had used packing "cubes" for my clothes and had left two cubes on an overhead rack and forgotten them. They located my cubes and sent them to me in Jeju. We were going on a cruise, and all my cruise clothing had been in the cubes - I was so grateful to get them back. Only complaint was the bathtubs were rather high for taking showers. We are elderly and getting into the tub was a bit challenging. Maybe adding a couple of grab bars.

The hotel’s lobby is a little outdated but the service could not have been better. We were blown away by how professional and kind employees here were. Every single staff we encountered, front desk, lounge staffs, cooks, housekeeping staff etc, were so kind and eager to help out with smiles on their faces. It makes me wonder how that is possible but I guess that’s why their business is blooming. Awesome food and coffee too.

1. Location We chose this hotel because we wanted to be near to the amusement park. We achieved this aim - in fact, there is a door in the hotel which leads to the amusement park. Buying tickets at the counter is cheaper. It is also close to the nearby shopping centres and the aquarium. The airport bus is also right outside the hotel - it's very convenient. 2. Rooms The rooms were clean with high quality soap. The kids also enjoyed the bath tub. Bed and pillows were all comfortable. 3. Amenities The best part of the hotel during our stay was really the kids lounge, which was suitable for our young children. We kept coming back because the kids really enjoyed it. 4. Price It is definitely not cheap to stay here, but worth a splurge if you want to maximise your time at Lotte World.

This hotel is located in the Gangnam district of Seoul across the river from “downtown”. It’s an ok place to stay. Our room was clean, but we were told to go fetch our own room amenities from the gift shop if needed. The staff was generally polite, but certainly not warm. And the concierge staff was particularly unhelpful, either challenged by language barriers, or a general lack of enthusiasm to help first-time visitors to Seoul. “Here’s a map” with little else. There are pretty good restaurants nearby and the attraction Lotte Tower across the street has commanding views of Seoul on a nice day. The property seems better suited to Korean-speaking travelers and not foreign visitors (at least not English speaking ones). If you’re in Seoul on business and need a clean, quiet room close to the mass transit station but outside of the center of the city, it’s probably an ok choice. If you want to be closer to the tourist districts or if you’d like more attentive and warm service, I’d look elsewhere.
