Loved our stay at the Hotel & Mirador Los Apus. Wish Trip Advisor would correct the name of the place, because it's confusing when you go to look it up elsewhere. Mirador means "view" and Los Apus roughly equates to "mountain spirits" in Quechan. From the second floor balcony and rooftop patio you have gorgeous views of the mountains and rooftops of Cuzco. The rooms are all a little different. Many are interior rooms with windows that open technically into the building, which provides for nice airflow and natural light, while at the same time creating a buffer from the city noise. I had read some reviews complaining about how noisy it was, but our experience (X-mas Day and surrounding days) was the complete opposite. Between us and our kids, we experienced 3 different rooms on 3 different floors. All were very quiet. The staff are lovely and very accommodating and communicative. Breakfast was wonderful... you get to order your eggs how you like them. Perfect location walking distance to the main squares, museums, and best restaurants (Kus Kay, LIMO). Great great value.

“Great place”

The hotel is a cute traditional style with a closed courtyard and is located close to the main plaza. The staff were always friendly and helpful at all times . Breakfast was a simple continental style but we could get eggs cooked any style we liked 👍

“Everything you need ”

Located in the heart of the San Blas neighborhood, this cute hotel has everything you need for a nice stay in Cusco. Clean bedrooms, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, very close to many attractions, restaurants and shops. I'd definitely recommend them.

Hotel Los Apus is in a great location. The hotel is about 8 min walk down to the Plaza de Armas (tourist center with shops, restaurants, tour outfitters, etc.). Hotel Los Apus is in a great location. The hotel is about 8 min walk down to the Plaza de Armas (tourist center with shops, restaurants, tour outfitters, etc.). Los Apus is far enough away where it's quiet and less crowded. There are small markets, which open late, for snacks/water basically 1-2 minutes out the door. The staff is helpful and the breakfasts are fulfilling. We stayed here twice (before and after our Inca Trail trip). Los Apus took care of our luggage, even at 3a and 5a, when the outfitters picked us up. They even offer to pack you a breakfast. The hotel entrance is not on a street (as in the photo) -- about 10 steps away. Uber and outfitters seem to know to park at the street and either call the hotel or come up to the hotel.
