“Excellent family run hotel, food is outstanding!”

If you don't end up staying here, but are in the area, make sure you visit the restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

“Improved since last visit”

We visited in September after a 3 year gap. We were welcomed by one of the owners and shown to our room on the first floor. The rooms are basic but adequate with a decent shower above a full sized bath. Storage is limited to a wardrobe with shelves in one side of it. There were very few coat hanger… more

We visited in September after a 3 year gap. We were welcomed by one of the owners and shown to our room on the first floor. The rooms are basic but adequate with a decent shower above a full sized bath. Storage is limited to a wardrobe with shelves in one side of it. There were very few coat hangers, we asked for extra and if a fan was available. Both were provided later that day. We stayed halfboard and the evening meal was very good, we were able to eat outside on most nights. Breakfasts were buffet style with the usual French fare, it was noticeable that more staff were available at all meal times and were better organised. We would recommend this hotel for people wanting a quite holiday away from the south coast but within an easy drive of it.

This hotel is very basic but so is the price, so no complaint there. It is in an old building, which has been kept as far as possible in it's original state. This does have its downsides as some doors are a bit more difficult to close, but nothing horrible that can't be overcome. The rooms are cleaned very well. The staff and the owners of this hotel are very friendly. Nothing is to much, you simply need to ask and they will try to accomodate your request to the fullest extend possible. The food is beyond all expectations at this budget. You can really tell that the chef is very skilled as he/she succeeds in creating a large variety of great dishes, using cooking skills and the required TLC on simple ingredients, rather than throwing a bunch of expensive ingredients on a plate and letting these do the work. Certainly worthy of a 'hats off' :) Breakfast is simple but plentyful. At breakfast the very friendly hotel staff also makes a hugh difference. What makes the food even better is the view you have over the Esterel mountains if you have it on the terras. For me the location of this hotel is perfect. It is located in a very quite and peaceful part of les Adrets. You are quite close to the highway if you want to discover the region. A 15-20 minute drive over one of the more fun regional mountain roads (that is: if you are into a lot of ups and downs and hairpins) will lead you straight to Mandelieu and it's sandy beaches (where roadside parking is still free somehow). Continue on that coast line and 5 minutes later you are in the heart of Cannes. We have been in this hotel for 3 years in a row (2013, 14 and 15) and chances are that we will return again in 2017. Because every review does need a point of criticism, I would go with the wifi. The signal was very goods the first years, but lately there seems to be a weaker signal.
