“Great base for cycling the Pyrénées ”

A group of 8 stayed here having booked through Love Velo. We stayed for 5 nights, half board. Rooms are very basic, no air con for example, but comfortable and clean. A group of 8 stayed here having booked through Love Velo. We stayed for 5 nights, half board. Rooms are very basic, no air con for example, but comfortable and clean. Minimal shower gel and shampoo provided, so take your own. Breakfast was pretty standard, pastries, cereal and bread etc, but great coffee. The evening meal was excellent after a day riding the Pyrenean climbs, 4 course with soup, a starter, main meal and dessert, and a lot of bread! The food in the evening was superb, plentiful and very tasty - we couldn’t have asked for more. The owners were great, but spoke minimal English which was sometimes challenging (given our minimal French). There is a separate garage for bike storage - the key is held at reception. Drinks prices are reasonable, but the communal seating is limited so not great for socialising in a big group. Would definitely revisit given value for money, location and food.

We are a group of motorcyclists touring the Pyrenees. It didn’t seem to phase them that we arrived soaking wet. There was an off road gated parking area at the back of the hotel. The rooms were basic, no tea coffee making facilities, but there was a machine in the bar/breakfast area that I assume could be used if required. The evening meal there was wonderful. The soup was hearty and had a wonderful flavour. The local Trout main course was lovely and so was the Creme Brûlée. Would defiantly recommend eating here. The breakfast was very basic, typical continental, but no eggs option, just cereal, yoghurt and whole fruits, cold meats and cheese, bread, croissants & cake. There was a pool but we didn’t get around to using it.
