“Fabulous hotel with a lovely beach on your doorstep”

We had our first holiday as a family here with our son who turned 2 whilst there in October this year, 2024, and we absolutely loved it! Overall we’d give this place a 4 1/2 out of 5. We had our first holiday as a family here with our son who turned 2 whilst there in October this year, 2024, and we absolutely loved it! Overall we’d give this place a 4 1/2 out of 5. Very clean, lovely quiet little location, amazing food, friendly staff and perfect for families. I’ll try to review all areas so apologies for the length! And I’ll review fairly. We don’t expect the world when booking a holiday but do expect a place to meet certain expectations for the price you pay, we certainly think this place did and would agree with it’s 4* rating. We stayed for a week all inclusive in a family room within the hotel, rather than the free upgrade apartment offered which were on the beach front. We chose not to take the upgrade due to some reviews that weren’t very favourable about them. I can’t speak for the inside as we didn’t see, but from the outside they looked great, they were on the beach front and we personally didn’t notice any staff out making noise as reviews have suggested, however, with a 2 year old, we weren’t exactly out late so I’m can’t say for sure this wasn’t an issue. Room: Our room in the main complex was lovely and a good size, it had a separate lounge area with aircon, fridge, tv and sofa bed, a large bathroom with a big walk in shower, a good sized double bedroom with a tv too, and a balcony overlooking the pool with the smallest of sea views (the rooms opposite would have had a lovely sea view which I’m sure you can upgrade too) There was a safe that you did have to pay for €10 deposit which you get back but do keep the receipt! And charged at €4 per day. We didn’t mind paying this as it’s quite a small fee but I know some people expect this included at a 4* so something to note. Pool: The pool area was lovely and clean, one large pool with a jacuzzi type area at one end, and behind a small wall was the kids pool. The pools were freezing! But no more so than any other I’ve experienced, and you know, once you’re in it’s never quite so bad! There were plenty of sunbeds around, and whilst not many umbrellas about, 3 sides of the pool have a canopy/sun shade of sorts running all the way down which provides plenty of shade throughout the day if you want it. Both me and my son are red heads and we didn’t burn at any point in our stay. I believe towels from the hotel were available on request, we’d bought our own beach towels so didn’t need this but I did see other guests with them so definitely available. Beach: If you prefer a day at the beach it is right on your doorstep. Down some steps, or a steepish hill on the other side of the apartment building gets you to the sandy coved beach. Here (infront of the apartments) there is also the included beach bar which serves drinks and snacks in the day and becomes a paella restaurant at night. You do need to book in for this (one visit per week you stay I believe) but you can do this on their app easily. There is another beach bar there around the corner which is a TUI one. We booked with TUI so we’re a little confused on our first visit which we could go too, the other one is further from the hotel and is exclusively for a TUI exclusive hotel a little further down the road so careful not to confuse the too! The beach does have a couple of other restaurants and a little shop on it and has sunbeds and umbrellas available to rent at the usual rates you find. They ranged between €30 - €40 per day for 2 beds and an umbrella whilst we were there. Plenty of room for lounging around on the beach with your own blanket too and some rocky areas for climbing or sitting on if you wanted. The beach is also the perfect spot to catch the sunset, we and many other people did and it’s lovely, well worth it if time allows. Resort: the resort itself is lovely and quiet, as it was our first holiday away with the little one we didn’t want anything too busy as we just didn’t know how he’d be. Safe to say it had everything we needed and we all enjoyed our stay there. There is a bus stop about a 10/15 minute walk away with good links that we used a couple of times for exploring. This is by a clothes and trinket shop, and further around that area you come to another little bit of town. This place has a few cafes and a couple of shops. You can also reach it by walking over the beach and up a big hill/set of steps. Walking up hill in the other direction from the hotel takes you to a little supermarket selling most of what you would need. Other than the restaurants and shop on the beach there isn’t much else there, perfect for what we wanted as a chilled holiday, but if your after more to do on your doorstep then this may not be the place for you. One of the factors that had us book this resort is that it was a short transfer from the airport, TUI reported about 40 mins but in reality it took about 20. Perfect when you’ve got a 2 year old who’s just had to sit through a flight! We were the first drop off and the last pick up on return, however, you weren’t close enough to the airport that you could hear planes or have them flying over head. We didn’t notice any at all. Overall a lovely clean quiet resort, all be it a little hilly. Food and drink: The hotel offers 3 places to eat and drink, the main buffet, the pool snack/drink bar and the beach bar/restaurant. We didn’t visit the beach bar as a restaurant so can’t comment on that but used it a couple of times in our stay for drinks and the odd snack. Good selection of drinks and a change in the snacks offered each day (this was mostly hot food under a hot lamp) this food was always fine but not the best if you went over there just before closing. The pool bar offered all drinks, all available on all inclusive including some branded spirits and champagne. Here they served toasties, mini pizzas, hot dogs, burgers, pastries and ice creams. The toasties could have done with a bit more toasting, but tasted fine and everything was great, perfect for pool snacking as and when you’re hungry. The cocktails are from a machine, but actually taste nice and you can taste the alcohol too so not watered down like some we’ve experienced before. The main buffet was fabulous. Breakfast offered all the usual: cooked, cold meats and cheeses, bread selections, cereal and preserve selections, pastries and fruit, along with fresh cooking stations for things like eggs, pancakes and omelettes. I had these a few times and were always delicious. Lunch always had a great selection too, again there was fresh cooking stations which always offered pasta and sauce and handmade pizzas, the other side would usually be cooking some kind of meat or fish. Plenty of salad and desserts too. And the evenings were themed, we experienced Spanish, French, Indian, Asian, the list goes on. Pizza and pasta was always available, aswell as the fresh stations cooking up something themed that fit with the night. There was always a huge selection on offer from starters to desserts and although we didn’t have a major dietary requirement (our son is lactose intolerant which we were able to manage perfectly) I did see a guest with a more severe need speak to staff and a chef came out and talked her through everything she could and couldn’t have. There were plenty of labels out too so hopefully it’s easy to navigate for those that need. The staff in here are wonderful too, so polite and friendly, clearing tables quickly and always happy to help. They even bought us over a cake and sang happy birthday to my son on his 2nd birthday, a lovely little addition and memory we are very grateful for. The food was always hot and fresh, and I could always see staff coming out to check it and top up where necessary, one of the best All Inclusive for food we’ve been too. Drinks available in here were wine, red, white and rose, beer - estrella, fizzy drinks, a coffee machine and water/squash and there was also a lower down kids area with a smaller selection of food/dishes available with plastic plates and some kid friendly items too. Hotel: The rest of the hotel was lovely, it’s only 3 floors including ground level so not too busy even when full. There is a little play park for kids over by the stage which we used. Our only quibble was that the lights came on after it got dark. I have reported this and they have assured me they are looking into it as it’s a a safety issue. The entertainment started a little late, the mini disco wasn’t until 7.30 and the main entertainment at 9, but if you have older kids that wouldn’t be so much of an issue. Generally the staff were great and the maids did a lovely job of cleaning. There were a couple of receptionists that always sounded like they were at the end of their shift, but nothing that was rude or unacceptable. There are some cabanas you can rent for the day just past the pool area, and there are soft drinks available in the reception area too. All in all a very clean and lovely hotel perfect for a relaxing holiday with family or as a couple.

We chose to stay here as the hotel has family suites and apartments, meaning there's still space for adults to chill once the little one's in bed! We were staying in the seaside view apartments, which are a little more dated than the main hotel but have amazing views over the beach, are right next to the beach restaurant and are a little quieter than if you were in the main complex. It's still less than 5 mins walk to the swimming pool or restaurant. The staff were amazing and hardworking, especially Zidane and Angela L who I think personally made a fuss over every child staying, and housekeeping who fought a good fight against sand and were very accommodating around baby's naptime! There was a good range of food in the main restaurant, it was a bit more basic at the pool bar and beach bar, especially as vegetarians.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had no complaints at all. Everything was first class from the room, the pool, the staff, the location, pool bar, restaurant, food, drinks and overall service. The entertainment team were fab and the only thing I would suggest would be more activities for the 12+ as the kids club was aimed to younger children. A lovely hotel in a fantastic location, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets.

From the extremely helpful and friendly reception staff on arrival, the welcoming and smiling restaurant and bar staff throughout our 10 day stay, the efficient housekeeping of our modern family suite we could not have asked for more relaxing holiday ,thank you all. The variety of food’s offered in the buffet restaurant were imaginative, colourful and well presented, certain dishes unfortunately did not retain their heat that well, however, they were still very tasty. Whilst we did not travel with children it was evident that the offering of a children’s entertainment facility was well used by parents of young children. The pool area was well kept and clean, even though the hotel was full there were ample beds offering sun and shade. This hotel worked perfectly for our holiday as a more mature couple recuperating from a strenuous house move and my husband’s unfortunate untimely knee injury which kept us off the beach. Would certainly recommend.
