From booking to arriving back at Manchester Airport, everything was smooth. We were delighted with the booking process, the hotel staff, and the overall experience. The staff, especially in the hotel, were professional and friendly. We chose the last week of February to avoid crowds. The weather was cool but sunny—a plus. The outdoor pools were closed, and only a few water activities were available, but the water temperature was manageable. The lounge was cozy and perfect for relaxing due to the fewer guests. The staff were amazing, and the pastries were delicious. I booked a Junior Suite but wasn’t happy with the location. A helpful lady from the reception team (sorry, forgot her name) showed me different rooms and assigned me one with a lovely view. The restaurant staff were very friendly, especially the breakfast team, despite their limited English. One staff member even offered me a bus card when I asked about local transport. The Kids’ Club staff were patient and engaging, knowing each child individually. The Lilium Spa was inviting. I booked the VIP three-massage package, and the service was unforgettable—special thanks to Kadek. Food-wise, there was plenty of variety, from buffet breakfasts to late-night dinners. Everything was fresh, with lots of local greens and delicious side dishes. Even though cats were everywhere in the hotel, cleanliness was spot on, and hygiene standards were high. If you’re looking for a relaxing resort stay, I highly recommend this hotel. However, if you want to explore and shop, I wouldn’t recommend it due to high taxi costs run by an outside company. In Turkey, language barriers make it easy to be overcharged. Taxis were expensive—1,000 Turkish Lira for a 20-minute airport transfer and 1,500 Lira for a 10-minute drive to the bazaar. Uber isn’t available, and taxis, while easy to book, are overpriced. Sightseeing was disappointing. We paid £65 each for a tour that only covered a waterfall and an old-town visit. The guide misled us and took us to a jewelry outlet selling overpriced Turkish Sultanite stones. We wasted two hours there. Avoid booking activities with Love Holidays' tour reps. Instead, use booking apps. Public transport, including buses and trams, is reliable, punctual, and easy to use with contactless payment. Downloading a local transportation app is recommended. For mobile data, an eSIM app is a cheap and convenient option. Despite the scams, the overall experience was great—big shoutout to the hotel staff!

“3 star for rooms, strange tips but amazing staff”

We are just back from a 5 night trip, myself, husband and 14 year old daughter staying in the family suite. We are just back from a 5 night trip, myself, husband and 14 year old daughter staying in the family suite. Initially we were allocated a ground floor room, it was dark, grubby and needed a clean, flooring warped, finger marks everywhere but the beds were comfy; we gave my daughter the main bedroom with en suite as she has disabilities ands this is better for her, I popped out to get some thing and came back to her having an anxiety attack as she was hearing a ‘honeymooning’ couple next door, she was so upset and obviously no one fault but to my daughter it sounded like some was being hurt badly. Guest services were great and moved us immediately to an upper floor. This room was exactly the same but it obviously had some updating, fresh paint, new flooring and much much cleaner. We’ve stayed in many 5 star, the hotel itself is almost 5 star however the rooms a 3 star in our opinion. We previously stayed at the titanic marden which possibly raised our expectations too high as they are both 5 star but the titanic was perfection in every way. The staff are a credit, I wish I had the name of the woman at guest services, she had almost blonde hair, she went above and beyond to help me find a specific cake for my autistic daughter who couldn’t eat anything else! Another mention for Hanzade at reception for helping us, very kind, patient and caring, when I asked for her name and explained how grateful we were, I thought she was going to cry! She’s so sweet and doesn’t realise how amazing she is at her work. We always tip, I leave the cleaners in our room with a note and I left money for the restaurant, BUT another guest explained that only management receive this money! I’m really disgusted at this, it’s a bit dishonest…. I won’t be returning due to the rooms, I know they shouldn’t matter but as we spend some amount of time in our rooms due to disability, we do like it to be clean and comfortable.
