Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda for the Tourette Association of America Youth Ambassador Training and Advocacy Day was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They treated the kids with Tourette syndrome with kindness, respect, and genuine inclusivity—just like everyone else. What stood out the most was how safe and confident my daughter felt during our stay. She was able to walk around the hotel with her fellow youth ambassadors without facing the challenges and stigma they often encounter in their daily lives. She told me that she hasn’t been treated like a “normal person” in a public place like this since her tics became more noticeable. That alone speaks volumes about the incredible environment the Hyatt Regency Bethesda has created. The accommodations were excellent, and the staff’s attentiveness made all the difference. It’s rare to find a place where kids with disabilities feel fully accepted, and I can’t thank the team at Hyatt Regency Bethesda enough for making this experience so special. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, inclusivity, and dedication to making every guest feel valued.

My overall stay was great, the hotel itself is so cool and beautiful, but the customer service I received from Da’ron was wonderful. It was nighttime, and Da’ron was by himself at the front desk. He was having to juggle multiple customers at once, and he assured all of us that he would attend to us shortly. He handled that situation wonderfully. I came to the front desk because I needed an ice pack for an injury. They didn’t have any pre-made ice packs, so he went out of his way to fill a bag with ice and bring it to me directly at the hotel bar so that I didn’t have to stand around waiting, missing out on time with my friends at the bar. Overall, he was so kind and helpful. What a great guy. Thank you so much.

“Short 2 night visit to see DC on our way home to Maine from SC”

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bethesda easy walk to local restaurants. We arrived late after dark, but saw many couples of all ages walking to restaurants and bars so we felt very safe walking after dark. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bethesda easy walk to local restaurants. We arrived late after dark, but saw many couples of all ages walking to restaurants and bars so we felt very safe walking after dark. The Metro line runs right to the hotel so getting into DC can be done with many choices. The hotel is very clean, rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is great. I enjoyed my stay here at the Hyatt Regency. The staff were all courteous and eager to answer my questions. Morton's restaurant inside the hotel make the best sangria! It was also a bonus to get my Starbucks fix every morning since it's located in the lobby area. I definitely will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
