“Lovely hotel, nice staff and good food”
We stayed as part of a point to point holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good, even for us awkward vegetarians. The market on the street on the Thursday night was brilliant for local atmosphere.

“Our favourite hotel during a 2 week walking trip in the Harz”
We loved this unpretentious hotel. Clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms with facilities for hot drinks. The lift wasn't working but staff helped. “Small hotel in a small town”
It is a small hotel in a smal town so don´t expect anything fancy. The building itself is wooden so you will wake up when someone else wakes up. “Too expensive for what you get”
Big nicely decorated room with a great bed, but very noisy. You hear everything they say in the hallway. That is, with the door closed, and that is not so pleasant especially not at night when a group of drinking Dutchmen passes by. They were there again at breakfast and that was not nice either. … more

“Clean, straightforward accommodation with friendly service”
A good base for walking in the local region. The food was ok, but breakfast a bafflingly complex affair. At other times, the whole place was eerily quiet. Rooms comfortable but a little outdated. Service straightforward and helpful.
