We stayed recently for 9 nights and had a very positive and delightful experience. The team was professional, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. So many great touch points during our stay. The room was comfy and super tidy and had amenities we wished we knew beforehand, like umbrellas, daily bottled water, a universal power adapter etc. That bathroom shower was just awesome, really great pressure and wide showerhead. It was a really great stay, good natural lighting, consistent even climate controlled room. We got to watch a concert during tea time, and that was pretty great too, the acoustics in the tea room were fantastic! Great location. We felt very safe around the neighborhood. Great food options nearby, and very close to lots of shopping as well. Thank you Sergi, Christian and the entire staff at El Palace Barcelona for a fantastic memorable stay! We hope to be back with the kids next time soon!

Service was great: Staff was excellent. On one night we were taking a cab to the women’s fc Barca game; the concierge made us aware that there wouldn’t be taxis at the end of the game, explained where to walk to take train back and shared if we had any trouble to call hotel and they would figure out how to get us back to hotel. Location perfect to be in - walking distance to sagrada familia, buses and metro, rambla and catedral of Barcelona.

There's a saying no matter how much you enjoy your stay in the hotel you want to get back home.El palace was a magnificent home with all the services you could wish for,with so much warmth and hospitality from the staff. Amazing experience that we would love to be repeated again and again.

The service is always impeccable, and the staff remains the same, which naturally creates a bond with loyal customers. The tea-time set menu is best avoided—everything is bland and quite ordinary. Instead, opt for the individual pastries, especially the delicious chocolate cake. I really like the staff at this luxury hotel—slightly old-fashioned, but the only one in Barcelona that offers such vast spaces. It certainly retains much of its “Ritz spirit.” However, as I was leaving, I passed by a young recruit standing at his post in front of the hotel, hands in his jacket pockets, gazing rather intently at a woman walking by.
