“My unexpected visit in Speyer”
The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a fresh egg every morning. I was there because my husband had suffered a serious injury while we were on a Viking tour and was in a hospital in Speyer. The staff at the hotel was kind, the location was convenient to hospital… more

“Very central, clean hotel”
The hotel is certainly located, on a small street. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is very good and I appreciate that they don't serve a lot of small portions in plastic, but use glass recipients. They offer a place to store bikes, which is very useful in a city.

“Calm and quiet place”
This hotel is located in the centre. It’s a cosy, family-run hotel, which was renovated some years ago. It has 12 rooms, with comfty beds. We spent only one night there, it was good. The staff was friendly, the only negative thing is the too strict check-in time: after 2 p.m.

“Nice little place to stay, but bring a fan”
The Alt Speyer is quite central to Speyer and a quick bus ride from the train station (or about a 15 minute walk if you are in the mood). The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was spacious. “Handy location for visiting the museum.”
The hotel is next to the museum, which was why we were in Speyer. The room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom is fairly small. You have to drive into the town for restaurants, which is only 5 minutes drive, and there is plenty of choice. Try the back streets for great eating.
