“As mentioned, amazing!”

Amazing hotel, amazing amenities, amazing everything. 4 pools, two bars and 4 different restaurants. Liu and Pu were amazing in their efficiency and professionalism! Their smiles lit up their faces and made me realize what great people the Thai are.

Stayed here for four nights and found it surprisingly calm and relaxing considering its location right in the heart of the bustling Patong beach area. The hotel pool areas were lovely and spacious, the restaurants were high standard and customer service staff were generally professional and friendly. We had a very good breakfast each morning at the Charm Thai restaurant and ate fish at the Terazzo Italian one night which was excellent. We booked a room in the Pool Villa category and were really pleased with the benefits that came with it, namely a free minibar each night and access to the Busakorn adult-only pool which is attended by two lovely staff members MP and Orio who were so passionate about providing the best possible comfort and care for their guests. Thank you both for spoiling us with all those cold towels, canapés and ice creams. You made our stay at the hotel really great.

“Great hotel with fantastic staff”

All the resort staff were fabulous, very professional, friendly and a high level of attention. The buffet breakfast was great and catered to everyone's tastes. We found the best price booking direct with the hotel and signing up to the IHG rewards (free).

“If travelling with children, watch out for hidden costs”

After some soul-searching for suitable hotels with great location, we couldn't see anything past our favourite resort hotel in Patong. We have stayed here on a couple of previous occasions over the years. Looked at various websites and found the best price through using the IHG app. We followed the booking request, adding our daughters age of 17, which still showed as a child price. Arriving at the hotel after a long flight from the UK which included a 2hr taxi transfer from the airport ( our journey took us past the EDT festival) we were escorted to a welcoming receptionist, after taking some details and a copy of our passports, she advised us that we were booked in the Busakorn wing. We were walked through the hotel and taken to the Busakorn wing reception. All going well, offered refreshments and then we were told that we had to pay extra for 3 adults in the room? A little shocked, but too tired to challenge or clearly understand why, we paid the additional £200+ and taken to our room. The rest of our stay was pleasant, just a little flat from our check-in experience. The Busakorn wing, is in a beautiful setting, a large pool with swim-up bar. The Breakfast was well stocked, plenty of choice and the staff were helpful. Happy hour is 4-6pm around the pool which made the bar prices very reasonable. Free-wifi around the hotel. Wondering If I had made a mistake in booking, I checked the app again, and it allows a child's age to be upto 17yrs old, so don't understand the extra charge at resort. I have registered a complaint through the IHG group about mis-leading customers with additional costs but haven't heard anyhting yet.
