Location: 90/100. Excellent location, in the central square, just beside the beautiful 18th century abbey. Unfortunately, there is no parking and the only close and public one can accommodate only three. This is free until 8.30 from Monday to Friday and 9.00 on Saturdays. Then you have to remember to change parking or to pay for an extra half an hour. Not a great deal. Staff: 80/100. Efficient and friendly staff at the reception, slightly less in the breakfast room. Room: 85/100. We slept in a large room with modern and elegant design and very comfortable beds. Although located in the main square, the Hotel is very quiet and we did not face any noise. Breakfast: 55/100. Quite cheap. It should have been of higher quality and with wider choice considering the price of the Hotel Price 75/100. A bit overpriced, considering the lack of garage and quality of breakfast. However, for the German Hotel standard, which is not as high as many other things in this beautiful country, this is a good choice. I would recommend it.

“Excellent location, slightly overpriced”

Excellent location, very friendly staff at the reception, large rooms with modern and elegant design and comfortable beds. Unfortunately, there is no parking and the breakfast could have been of higher quality and wider choice.

While this hotel met all my requirements, I found it to be somewhat mediocre. The room was fairly spacious but lacked the small touches which would have made it a better hotel; the twin beds are nice and long but very narrow, their is only a little upright chair if you want to chill for a bit and the Wi-Fi is unstable, dropping all the time (my colleague in a different part of the hotel had no signal in his room at all). The breakfast was adequate but had very little variety and the eggs looked like they were prepared well in advance. The pastry selection was very poor. On the up side, the hotel is cheap by European standards and is well located in the town with a selection of descent restaurants in walking distance.

Having stayed at Brewery hotels a few times in Germany they can be lively places with good German food and spotless rooms. This place just didn't hit the mark. Room was large and spotless but uninspiring with cheap curtains although bathroom was good. Dinner was in a small room with a basic menu more associated with a much smaller establishment. Breakfast, often the highlight of any stay at a German hotel, was probably the worst I have had in years. Bacon and eggs not replenished so they weren't an option as the waitress didn't seem interested despite breakfast room being almost empty. Bread, hams, cheeses etc etc all uninspiring and low quality. Could have been so much better.
