Had a couple of stays here in February and everything was fantastic. In particular staff were outstanding - friendly and caring and often went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel itself was quiet, relaxed, bright, clean and modern. My room was comfortable and spacious with good facilities. A robe, slippers, nice toiletries and a wine cooler were much appreciated nice extra touches. I had meals in the restaurant a few times and they were very good indeed. Breakfast each day offered an excellent selection of cooked and continental, and was taken in the well appointed restaurant area. I would highly recommend this hotel for many reasons.

“Excellent choice for families or business”

We have stayed a few times now and are always so impressed. My husband works remotely for Derriford, and has to work on site every few months. I sometimes join him, and we have stayed in a few hotels locally but this is by far the best value. There is free parking and free WiFi. The rooms are very large, with plenty of storage. The beds are comfortable (we pick the room with two double beds for an extra fiver and this is totally worth it if you like to starfish!) The rooms come well stocked with tea, coffee, bottles of water, biscuits, chocolates, robes, slippers and toiletries. The amount of complimentary extras far exceeds the very reasonable price point. We now have a 5 month old who came with us on this latest trip. We found it a very practical choice with a baby. There is a bath and shower, good sized travel cots and plenty of floor space for little explorers. There is also a huge desk space for working/ making bottles etc. There is free late check out until 12pm and you can pay to extend this even later. On our most recent trip, our baby decided he would like to have a nap just before we were due to leave and I rang down to reception and they let us check out half hour later, free of charge. They were so kind about it and this made a huge difference to me in not having to rush out the door and battle with a grumpy baby. The other thing I find really impressive is their clear commitment to sustainability. There are little polite reminders throughout the room and bathroom on all of the things you can do to make your stay more sustainable. They go beyond just reusing your towels, asking you to leave your recyclables out of the bin and leave on the desk for them to recycle. You can also build up reward points for having a sustainable stay. Some great initiatives! All in all it’s an excellent choice for families and business trips and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. “Great hotel - better than a budget hotel”

Great hotel with everything you need. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant for evening meals was excellent. Great hotel with everything you need. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant for evening meals was excellent. If you don't want a buffet breakfast, you can just opt for a breakfast sandwich or eggs on toast - just ask the staff. Bring your own toiletries as I can't be bothered with sachets. Beware to lock your door/ put up "do not disturb " sign- housekeeping came into our room twice about 8am to check our room whilst we were still in bed.

My son and I travelled down to Plymouth for an overnight stay before the football match at Home Park. What a brilliant hotel, the rooms are very spacious and clean. Well equipped with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate,water bottles. The beds are very comfy and the check-in was fast. McDonald's,Costa, KFC and other fast food outlets are within walking distance. We went into the bar on the evening,it's very relaxed. In the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant which was also very quick and very relaxing. Everything about this hotel is great especially the price.Every time I come to Plymouth for a short visit I will stay here. Can't recommend enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐
