Stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the hotel and its proximity to the parks and restaurants. The rooms are a little dated but the area this place really shone was the pool onsite which my daughter loved with a great slide. It takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to the restaurant and another 5 to the park entrances. Was great for my 3 year old. Would stay again happily.

“Average stay”

The rooms are very clean, we were 3 in a room, 1 adult and 2 teenagers if we had come as a family the room would of been a bit small, but we were out 12 hours a day, pool was cold. My only complaint is house keeping walking into our room 4 times whilst we were in there.

We stayed at the sequoia lodge for 2 night in late Feb 2025. We are a 2 adults (F 32 and M 40) and were here to celebrate my birthday. We requested a quiet room at the hotel which we received. We were in one of the lodges next to the main hotel, about a 5 minute walk away. We were in room 422. It was ok, the beds were quite firm and I’d say the room is due a renovation and it seemed quite dated. Also the hairdryer is an old school attached to the wall hairdryer that is more like blowing lukewarm air than anything else, so pack a hairdryer if you don’t want to walk around with wet hair. That being said, it was good for what we wanted, we had a meal plan for 3 meals a day included which was great value for the breakfast. I wouldn’t get it again for the other meals a day as the menus are quite restricted and the food quality actually wasn’t very nice. The main hotel is really lovely and peaceful, we didn’t use the pool but it was in use and I believe heated as well. The outdoor pool was shut as I assume it is only open in late spring/Summer. Overall it was a good hotel, the shuttle bus was handy with the luggage to and from the train station (Marnee la vallee). It was a 15 minute walk to the Disney village, though be aware that during peak times to get into the park, i.e for the magic hour and just after, there will be a queue outside of the New York marvel hotel as there is a bag security check point to get from the hotels into the Disney village. Also note that going into the main sequoia lodge hotel, you need to have your bags scanned (regardless if you’ve just come from the hotels into or are staying there already). During our stay we went into both the Newport bay hotel and the Disneyland hotel and there was no bag check required at all.
