We went to Dionysos Resort in august 2011 and we had a pretty good experience (very good food), but we also had some unpleasant surprises: we received a room at gound floor, with a very small balcony; the towels and the bed sheets were not very often replaced (just twice a week); the beach was pretty far (over 300 meters away from the hotel); but the snaks between lunch and dinner (cookies!!!), the shows made each evening by the entretainment crew from the hotel were pretty good; also the swimming pool was pretty nice (big), and also the swimming pool bar was excellent, during the day; overall a good experience but we won't go there again :)

“Don't want to go again”

Problem1: not a very great impression with the attitude. We get a room, 2 adults and one 2 years old, the only luggage boy takes us there after waiting for him about 15 min, but surprise-the room was not cleaned after it's last occupants (it was 5 PM ,check out i think is at 12 AM), bathroom wet, dirty towels, unmade beds, garbage and so on. The luggage boy says it will be taken care, just wait. Ater 30 min we call reception, we wait another 30 than my husband goes 3 floors down to reception , he is told we will get another room. We have to carry our luggage down, then to the new room in another building. And there ...ony 2 beds for the 3 of us.Meantime, since we were after 1 day on the road, we would like to have dinner...but go done again to reception where i wanted to talk to someone in charge. Someone comes, does not care at all of my problems , not even that there was a child involved. At my persuasion a get an "i apologise..if you want me" and that's it. I say clean the first room, we will get dinner and when we come back everything will be ok...but nooo...luggage has to be carried also by us in the first room, which had clean towels, drinks in minibar, no garbage but THE SAME bedsheets, only made to look nicer. So we had to take it, put our own towels on pillows and sleep after who knows who. Anyway, next day we solved the problem directly with the cleaning lady (the ony nice employee we found there), and afterwards no problems with the cleaning. Problem2: restaurant service. If you eat meat (not fish) and are not such a fan of salads, you will remain hungry if you are not willing to go and fight for a portion of meat with the rest of the " nice" and "educated" tourists from former URSS. Big lines at meat, even 30 min before opening and taking huge quantities of it, which of course they could not eat and was thrown away, and the rest of us couldn't get any...almoust the same at every dish that was not salad. Problem3: you had to get up at 6.30 in order to get a sun bed by the pool, later everything occupied by towels (NOT people) Problem4: a la carte...a joke. We tried Tukish Restaurant, and after the first course (was already on the table), we waited aprox 30 min to get the next appetizer (only half of it, because when it was our turn it was over) and another hour for the main course which we didn't wait anymore because it was enough..we left and ate some salad and potatoes at the main restaurant (all it was left half hour befour closing) Problem5: all entertaiment and announcements almoust exclusevly in russion...so nice for us who don't speak it Problem 5: sea at 5-6 min walk...hotel not ON THE BEACH..and the walk itself not through a garden but between vegetables and constructions..i think..(by the way..the hotel does not have a garden) Nice things: -the hotel itself, newly furnished, good conditions (minibar, flat screen, new mattresses,new furniture) -the pool, big , nice and almoust clean -the water slides -the beach, sandy, nice entrance in the see, with small water

“impolite staff”

our first impression was ok, alright swimming pool and nice view. However, it took more than a hour to check in, food was ok. but i would not stay here again because of the staff. Impolite staff!!!!
