I typically don't do this, however, I felt compelled to speak about a very kind human experience that I had with the woman who worked the front desk, named Brittany ( I hope I spelled that right). Not a very tall person. She had brown hair and a nose ring that seemed, an accent of her trueness with herself. As I entered the lobby of this hotel I felt exhausted from a Long Day's work of heavy manual labor. Out of instinct I pull out my vape, and take a hit to calm the insatiable urge to feel relaxed. Brittany immediately said to me I'm sorry sir there's no vaping here.... I obliged and apologized. There was no tone in her voice that said anything other than " these are the rules and I'm just trying to do my job". There was something about her response that stuck with me. That tone that she had, it was.... Human. I know that sounds weird, but it was humble, considerate, but also straightforward. I later came down for a cup of coffee and when the rush of people checking in had settled, I engaged in conversation. I asked her how long she had been here and she said to 2 months. I found it interesting that she seemed so settled, I expected her to say years. But we went into conversation and it was something that I needed. It was just a conversation, I felt intrigued and equally a recipient of intrigueness. Nothing crazy, but just enough to take my mind off of the day and that's enough. That is hospitality. That is what I believe our country is missing. But my favorite part, is that when I asked her does she like her job, her response...... Was "I absolutely love my job!". Thank God for people like her. To just be, neighborly and available. It didn't feel as if she felt obligated to react and respond that way. It was natural.Brittany if you ever read this thank you so much! I know that you may not think that it had such an impact, but it did. Please continue to be yourself and never sway. Five stars for Brittany alone.

“Hotel Outstanding Performance!”

I usually don’t do reviews but I had to do it for this stay. Mostly for the friendly employees especially to Tiera @ the front deck. We were there for about 10 days in late September visiting family. Tiera made us feel like being home, a warm feeling thru out our stay. Any requests asked she fulfilled. GREAT JOB TIEARA! As for the hotel it is being renovated the room was clean hot shower and Housekeeping was there if we needed anything! Great hotel for my needs will return! Tiera definitely needs to be recognized by the company for her outstanding work ethic and congeniality well done Tiera, so you know we were in Room 213 👍

We really enjoyed our Stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were always happy to assist in any way they could. The free breakfast was really good. The waffles were delicious. The hotel was conveniently located to the sites we wanted to see. No matter what direction we went we were never over 30 minutes to an hour away. We would definitely stay here again.
