We had a great time when we stayed here. We had just got married and wanted 4 days away before our Family-Moon (honeymoon with kids!). We wanted the freedom that an apartment gives, and as we are early risers we don't like wait around for breakfast at a hotel! This place was perfect. We were on the top floor so had a huge balcony to watch the stars and see the Thames lit up at night. There is a Tesco Metro round the corner which we used all week, and saved a fortune. The DLR that services the whole docklands area is just brilliant - clean, reliable and good value for money. This is a cosy 1 bed place, but I am already planning a trip back with the girls over Christmas. Made our stay really special, a lovely start to our married life!

We recently stayed here on our visit to Birmingham for a long weekend. The apartment complex is easy to find and is staffed with helpful people in reception during the day and a security guard at night making it easy to check in. The complex is large and divided into blocks with lift access to all floors however the heavy doors at the front of the blocks and there 6 or so steps in the entrance hall may make access difficult for people with mobility issues. The apartment was clean but basic and didn’t feel very homely. The bedroom was large with a comfy double bed, living room with a tv and did player and access out onto a large balcony area. The kitchen was fully equipped with the basics and they provided a couple of milk sachets and tea / coffee. The heating was a bit of a mystery with storage type electric heaters in every room which seemed to either be roasting hot or freezing cold. The complex overall was quiet and located in a perfect location with o oh a short walk into the Jewellery district or along the canal to broad street.

For the price your paying, we felt that the accomodation was beyond what we expected. The room was big and we had a wonderful view from the spacious balcony. For the price your paying, we felt that the accomodation was beyond what we expected. The room was big and we had a wonderful view from the spacious balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking utensils and there was even the dryer for us to do our laundry. What we enjoyed most - the space (which is difficult to get in London) and the quiet location, just 5 minutes walk from the DLR. My husband and I enjoyed staying out of Central London itself, so that was more of a preference. What we didn't like - we had slight trouble searching for the property as the area was relatively new. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again but I would understand if travellers prefer staying more central.
