“An excellent hotel in the heart of Cartagena.”

This is an excellent hotel. A refurbished mansion. It is walking distance to everything and in the heart of the old city. We would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel staff met our every need. Breakfast was included. The massage staff was superb.

While the street outside the hotel is busy, as soon as you step into the hotel it’s tranquil and peaceful. The rooms are quiet, very clean and modern. The free breakfast is also very good. Only a short walk to the old city. Overall, highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in December. It is in a great location in Getsemani, easy walk to Plaza Trinidad or the walled city. I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in December. It is in a great location in Getsemani, easy walk to Plaza Trinidad or the walled city. The breakfast is decent, the hotel is very clean and smells like a spa most of the time (in an inviting way). There are lots of local food options around the hotel, you will have to go a bit further for more upscale options, but everything is within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, but my room had no window (206) so it was difficult to tell what the weather was like in the morning without going outside. The pool was clean and very well maintained and mostly empty for the period I was there. The street does get flooded whenever it rains, but it drains within a few hours I always feel that it is the small things that elevate a hotel and I arrived at this hotel just before midday and even though it appeared the room was available, they made me wait until the 3pm check-in time before giving me access to the room. That seems very petty to me and not something I have experienced in the past. It is also why I took away one star. Despite that, I would stay here again, the staff are very polite and welcoming. I definitely loved Cartagena and see myself going back in future.
