“Fantastic View”

Fantastic view and location. Room is clean and all working well. The hotel also gives a free flow minibar, free access to spa. Sadly the hotel restaurant is closed when I was there but there are a lot of other restaurants near by. Will definitely staying here again when I am back to Montreux

This hotel was booked through my group tour with Globus. I have no idea what the price would normally be. The location is great. It’s right on the water front near the jazz statue park. The waterfront walk is beautiful. It’s also close by car to Chillon Castle too. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, all relatively expensive but good food. The hotel is undergoing renovation and my room looked quite new. It was very clean. They had 2 twins pushed together with no mattress topper though so I basically slept on a twin. The pillows are very flat. The bathroom was quite small. The toilet was wedged in between the shower and sink and I wonder how a larger person would squeeze in there. The shower pressure and heat were great. There were tons of windows in the room and also a small balcony with a partial view of the water. Due to renovations, the terrace was closed and you also have to go outside to access the spa. It is free to use the spa facilities. At the lobby there is a dispenser for coffee, hot water, and hot chocolate and some candy too. Breakfast was included and was pretty repetitive, with the same food every day.

“Well presented hotel with stunning views and friendly staff”

A decent hotel in a good location. Less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. We did a trip on the Golden Pass Belle Epoque train from Montreux to Gstaad. On another day, we got up early and took the train to Zermatt via a change at Visp. We then took the cogwheel railway up to Gornergrat which is 10,000feet above sea level, offering stunning views of Matterhorn and other alpine peaks. The hotel itself was well presented with very helpful and friendly staff. We arrived at 11pm and unfortunately there wasn’t even a vending machine to use. Rooms are decent, we stayed on 13th floor Room 130 Cosy Mona which was nice. Tight squeeze in the shower room and next to bed was a little dusty, but other than that it was a lovely room. Views over lake Geneva from bedroom window were stunning. Breakfast offered basic variety, although feedback raised with management regarding people having to breath over some food to reach down and grab a plate. Coffee was great from the machines. This hotel offers complimentary use of the coffee machine in the reception area with complimentary gummy sweets there too. Would be good if there were some lids so you could take it out with you before it gets cold instantly outside. Overall, happy with the hotel and would stay again. Some room for improvement with a couple of things, but I raised this with management and they said they would deal with it.
